I am using terracotta clay for this which needs firing in kiln you can use any other clay as per your choice.
Materials required- terrcotta clay, kiln for firing or going to nearby place to fire it, water, clay tools, clay mat etc.
Steps
- Make your clay ready by adding water and kneading it and make it smooth.
- Roll into a ball once you see your clay is ready.
- Using pinch pot technique make a small miniature vase.
- Smooth out all walls of your vase by water and liquid clay.
- Now take more clay make it small balls and stick on outer wall of vase for decoration (it’s optional you can use yoir own method of decoration or leave it like that only).
- Once you see your vase is ready let it dry overnight.
- Now it’s time to fire, fire in your kiln if you have or take it to nearby place for firing.
- After firing let it cool then use glaze to decorate it if needed optional step.
- You are ready with a vase.
- Firing is optional too if you want and need then only do it otherwise don’t.
